We are an independently owned, full-service 24/7 emergency and specialty care veterinary hospital in Brewster, New York. Our entire team is dedicated to providing the very best and most progressive care to all of our patients, and courteous service to our clients and primary care veterinary partners.  With a completely renovated 29,000-square-foot animal hospital in Brewster, New York, our facility serves pet owners and referring veterinarians throughout Putnam, Dutchess,  Westchester, Orange, Rockland and Bronx counties in New York, Fairfield County in  Connecticut—and beyond.

At Guardian Veterinary Specialists, we’re serious about giving back and making high-quality veterinary care accessible to as many pets as possible. That’s why we offer registered nonprofit animal shelters and rescue groups a generous 50% discount on our medical and surgical services.

We also support the region’s primary care veterinarians by sharing resources, ideas and knowledge—including through continuing education. This, in turn, helps them to help their patients and pet-owner clients.
