Presentation Description / Summary: This presentation will address current and emerging research in the field of feline cardiomyopathies. Specifically, the presenter will provide an update on advancements in feline cardiomyopathy research with an emphasis on novel imaging and biomarker based tests that improve diagnostic and prognostic capabilities in the preclinical and clinical stages of feline cardiomyopathy.

Learner Outcomes: 1. Attendees will gain an understanding of newer prognostic indicators in cats with preclinical cardiomyopathies 2. Attendees will gain an understanding of newer prognostic indicators in cats with clinical (heart failure) secondary to cardiomyopathies 3. Attendees will gain insight on new imaging techniques to aid in the diagnosis of feline cardiomyopathies
