Presentation Description / Summary: In this 2 hour interactive neurology technician session participants will rotate through five stations, where we will explore current care and monitoring strategies for veterinary patients impacted by neurologic dysfunction in several topic areas, and then through interactive discussion will help to create model templates that can be used in multiple settings to enhance and optimize patient care across the profession. As a profession we are all involved in consistently aiming to improve the quality of care for our patients through a variety of avenues: Data and patient outcomes, goals & evaluation, improvement of access to care, patient/caregiver engagement and collaboration.

Learner Outcomes: Participants will demonstrate an understanding of veterinary neurology nursing in distinct perspective as it relates to other disciplines with shared perspectives • Participants will apply theory and research-based knowledge to develop care standards and to explore how to advance this in their own clinical setting • Participants will demonstrate clinical judgement through incorporation of knowledge from veterinary neurology and other disciplines
