Kile Townsend is an equine internist and assistant teaching professor at the University of Missouri. She is originally from New Hampshire and attended veterinary school at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada before completing internship and residency training at the University of Missouri. Special interests include neonatology, veterinary education, emergency//critical care, and neuromuscular diseases in horses.
