Lucy Davison is Professor of Veterinary Clinical Genetics and MRC Clinician Scientist Fellow at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London and the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford. She is a graduate of Cambridge Vet School, and completed her PhD in canine diabetes at the RVC. This was followed by a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Cambridge and two post-doctoral fellowships in human and comparative genetics, funded by the Wellcome Trust. As well as a more recent focus on coronavirus biology, Lucy's clinical and research interests are endocrinology and the use of novel technologies to investigate the genetic basis of complex diseases.
