Susan G. Wynn, DVM, DACVIM (nutrition), is a 1987 graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing an internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC, and a postdoctoral fellowship in viral immunology at Emory University’s School of Medicine, she pursued a residency in small animal nutrition at UT College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a past president of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and the founder of the Veterinary Botanical Medical Association. In clinical practice for 31 years, most recently as nutrition specialist with BluePearl Veterinary Partners, she is now Senior Director of Scientific Affairs at Instinct Pet Food and an adjunct faculty member at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
