Professor at Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias da UNESP, Jaboticabal campus, Brazil, where he teaches the undergraduate disciplines Nutritional and Metabolic Diseases of Dogs and Cats, and Nutrition and Feeding of Dogs and Cats. In the graduate school, is supervisor and responsible for the disciplines Nutritional and Metabolic Diseases and Formulation and Thermomechanical Processing of Pet Food. Is responsible for the Residency Program in Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition of Dogs and Cats at the Teaching Veterinary Hospital of the University, and for the Research Laboratory in Nutrition and Nutritional Diseases of Dogs and Cats. He is a board member of the Colégio Brasileiro de Nutrição Animal (CBNA) and President of the European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN).
