Dr. Reinhart received her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois. Following rotating internship at Cornell University, she went to Kansas State University for residency in small animal internal medicine and Master's degree in veterinary biomedical sciences. Dr. Reinhart then went to the University of Wisconsin for PhD studies focusing on comparative pharmacology and also practiced as a clinical instructor. She achieved board certification in veterinary clinical pharmacology in 2019. Since 2017, Dr. Reinhart has been an assistant professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois. Her research interests include pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism and their impact on clinical phenotype. Her current focus is on antifungal drugs.
