Lisa Stammeleer, DECVIM (she/her/hers)

Internal Medicine Diplomate - PhD candidate

Lisa Stammeleer graduated in 2015 with honors. She completed a rotating internship followed by an Internal Medicine residency (ECVIM) from 2015 to 2019., and the obtained the title of Diplomate ECVIM-CA (Internal Medicine) in 2021. She is currently combining research (PhD candidate within the Small Animal Internal Medicine research group of Ghent University) and clinical work as an Internal Medicine Specialist, with the main focus on Endocrinology. Her clinical research is focused on mainly on the outcome after radioiodine therapy in hyperthyroid cats.
She is an active member of the Small Animal Department council at Ghent University.
