Madeleine R. Stein, BVetMed, MSc (she/her/hers)

Dr. Madeleine Stein is a third year small animal internal medicine resident at Tufts University. Prior to undertaking her residency she completed her veterinary training at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London and a rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. During her internship Dr. Stein developed an interest in companion animal antimicrobial stewardship and pursued a master's project investigating pet owner knowledge and attitudes surrounding antimicrobial stewardship in the veterinary setting. During her residency she has been involved in development and implementation of the hospital stewardship program at Tufts, as well as research projects investigating household risk o f antimicrobial use in dogs.
