Kara Majors, DVM

Dr. Kara Majors is originally from Lexington, South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences with a minor in Genetics from Clemson University. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center. She is currently completing a Neurology and Neurosurgery Specialty Internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital.

Her professional interests include inflammatory conditions of the nervous system and neurosurgery. She plans to pursue a residency in neurology and neurosurgery next year.

In her free time, Dr. Majors enjoys hiking with her two dogs (Benji and Moose), reading, and doing yoga.
