Rachel Van Zile, DVM

Dr. Rachel Van Zile, aka "Dr. Ray", is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended undergraduate at the University of South Carolina and is a 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed her small animal rotating internship at North Carolina State University prior to commencing her residency in cardiology here in 2020. Dr. Ray has a strong interest in the One Health initiative and species-spanning approach to medicine, especially as it pertains to the field of cardiology and treating similar diseases in veterinary and human patients. She is currently a third-year cardiology resident, and is excited to announce that she will be joining the CVCA Cary team next year to continue serving veterinary cardiology patients in the Raleigh area!
