Loni Albrecht is a second-year Small Animal Internal Medicine resident at Louisiana State University, with special interest in endocrinology and hepatopathies. She completed a rotating internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, in Houston, TX, and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Prior to veterinary school, she completed a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics at the University of Tennessee and conducted mathematical modeling studies on various pandemic diseases
