Nick Parkinson graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2005, and following a period in private practice did a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, obtaining the DACVIM in 2016. He recently completed a PhD in Genetics and Genomics, and currently works at the University of Edinburgh where he splits his time between clinical equine internal medicine and research in comparative genomics, with a particular interest in genome editing.
