Dr. Shira Burg, Veterinarian, graduated from the Koret school of medicine, Hebrew University in 2016. Experienced in urgent and critical care of small animals, focused on cardiology since graduation.
Founder and CEO of symbiosis C.M., a medical device company in the field of structural heart disease, specifically for valvular insufficiency . Currently finishing a PhD in cardiac electrophysiology targeting a unique ion channel for the treatment of atrial fibrillation.
1st place winner of the 2022 RENA YAROM YOUNG INVESTIGATOR COMPETITION, ISHR (International society for heart research) and 1st place winner of the Coller startup competition, deep-tech track, Tel Aviv University 2022.
