Dr. Roynard graduated from the Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort (Paris, France) in 2006 and was awarded a Thesis medal for his work on canine cruciate ligament surgery in 2007. Dr. Roynard underwent residency training in Neurology/Neurosurgery at the University of California-Davis and Long Island Veterinary Specialists (completed in 2016). He was awarded DACVIM (Neurology) status in 2017, along with the ACVIM neurosurgery certificate. Dr. Roynard joined the Neurology/Neurosurgery service at the Ohio State University in November 2022. Primary clinical and research interests include: neurosurgery, CNS malformations and use of NMDA antagonists for neuropathic pain and other conditions.
