Laura Nath is a registered specialist in equine medicine, based in Australia and consults to practices in the greater Melbourne area. Laura undertook a residency in equine medicine at the University of Melbourne and obtained fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2010. Laura also completed a masters degree in Veterinary Science for her work examining the use of cardiac troponin I in the investigation of heart disease in horses. Laura is a current PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide researching cardiac arrhythmia and sudden death in racehorses. Laura enjoys consulting on a broad range of cases including cardiac and respiratory disease, neurology, colic and diarrhoea, weight loss, endocrine diseases and foal disorders.
