Shelly L. Vaden, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (SAIM), Founder ACVNU

Dr. Shelly Vaden is a Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she did an internship at Cornell University and a residency in SAIM at NCSU. She is a Diplomate of the ACVIM and has a PhD from NCSU. The focus of Dr. Vaden’s scholarly and clinical activities is nephrology and urology, and she has extensively published in this area. Dr. Vaden is a member of the International Renal Interest Society Management Board.
