Katia completed a Neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania more than 20 years ago and it was here in Philadelphia that she discovered her love for Feline Neurology and completed her first publication on Feline Spinal Cord Diseases. Since then she continued developing this interest while working in academia in US and UK at the University of Missouri, University of Tennessee-Knoxville and at the R(D)SVS-University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Her second passion is to start new Neurology Services, after starting the thriving Small Animal Neurology/Neurosurgery service at the R(D)SVS-University of Edinburgh, she has now moved to VetsNow Glasgow to start a new Neurology/Neurosurgery service there.
