Dr. Bartges is graduate of the University of Georgia. He completed an internship, residencies in internal medicine and nutrition, and a PhD at the University of Minnesota. He has been on faculty at Georgia and Tennessee and was adjunct at Cornell and worked at the Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. He joined the faculty at The University of Georgia in 2016 as Professor of Medicine and Nutrition. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Small Animal) and the American College of Veterinary Nutrition.
