Imogen graduated from the University of Sydney and went on to complete an internship in private practice in Australia. She completed her residency in large animal internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she remained as a Lecturer for an additional 4 years. She then moved to the UK, working as a Senior Lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College for 10 years. For the last 6 years she has been employed as an internal medicine specialist at B and W Equine Hospital, in Gloucestershire, UK
