Michele Gaspar is a veterinarian and a psychotherapist. She is a 1994 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Michele received her MA in pastoral counseling from Loyola University of Chicago in 2012 and will graduate from psychoanalytic training in September 2023 from the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis. Her current professional activities include participation in the VIN Foundation's Vets4Vets initiative, through which she provides one-on-one help and resources to veterinarians and veterinary students with professional and/or personal issues and a private psychotherapy practice. Michele is particularly interested in bringing psychoanalytic concepts to the veterinary profession in a usable way and creating a new paradigm for wellbeing that moves beyond "yoga, bagels and cream cheese."
