I graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Avian Science in 2005 and obtained my RVT license in 2006. I have a background in private practice with a special interest in exotics but for the last 12 years have been working at the University of California, Davis VMTH with small animals. I started in Emergency and Critical Care and instructed for a veterinary technician program simultaneously but eventually changed my path to working primarily anesthesia. Last year I obtained my VTS in Anesthesia and have a passion for sharing my knowledge and experience with other technicians. When I am not working I share my life with my husband and our small zoo of dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, a tortoise and a koi pond. I love being outside and can be found trail running, snowboarding and gardening on my days off.
