Laura Nafe obtained her DVM from the University of Missouri in 2009. She then went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at North Carolina State University before completing a residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Missouri in 2013. She worked at the University of Wisconsin as a clinical instructor in small animal internal medicine for 1 year prior to becoming an Assistant Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at Oklahoma State University. She worked at Oklahoma State for 6 years (2014-2020) prior to becoming a faculty member at the University of Missouri. Her clinical interests include urology/nephrology, minimally invasive procedure, and infectious disease.
