Eleanor C. Hawkins, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM) (she/her/hers)

Dr. Hawkins is a Professor at NC State University and Associate Head of the Department of Clinical Sciences. She is author of the respiratory section of Nelson and Couto’s Small Animal Internal Medicine textbook, as well as numerous other chapters, publications, and proceedings. She has served as the Director of the Clinical Study Core (NC State College of Veterinary Medicine), Chair of the ACVIM Board of Regents, President of the Specialty of SAIM, and on the Board of the Veterinary Comparative Respiratory Society. She was named an Animal Medical Center distinguished alumnus and received the ACVIM Distinguished Service Award.
