I received my DVM at Tufts University in 2012. I then continued my training at Colorado State University as a Food Animal Medicine and Surgery Intern. Following this, I completed a Large Animal Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and attained Diplomate status in 2016. I am currently finishing a PhD and working as a clinical instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research is focused on investigating the association between the respiratory microbiota and BRD in dairy calves. Specifically, I am interested in how sequencing can be used to implement early screening diagnostics and alternative therapeutics.
