Wendy received her V.M.D. from the U of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where she completed an internship and large animal medicine residency. She served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at New Bolton Center until 1996 followed by 9 years in private equine practice in NJ. Wendy joined Intervet, Inc. (now Merck Animal Health) as an Equine Professional Service Veterinarian in 2004. Currently she is Director of Strategic Development and Innovation for Companion Animal / Equine. She is a diplomat of ACVIM. Her interests include perinatology, infectious diseases, and parasitology.
