Presentation Description / Summary: The veterinary technicians role in inflammatory diseases of the CNS is wide ranging involving the initial triage, diagnostic plan, nursing care and client education. This discussion will include the presenting clinical signs for these disease processes, how they are diagnosed and the technicians role in obtaining these diagnostics. The nursing care plays a vital role in the care of these patients as well as the client education for the long term management of patients with CNS diseases.
