Presentation Description / Summary: The primary goal of this lecture is to discuss ways to improve communication between specialty medicine and primary care medicine. We will discuss the current challenges from each side and how we can overcome these to provide better total care for our patients. We will also discuss some of the very latest data with specific KPI's on ways we can work better together

Learner Outcomes: 1. How to open the lines of communication between referral and primary care 2. How to maximize and improve current the current relationship 3. Understanding the perception each side has and why these are not always correct. 4. Help foster better open communication for a more streamlined referral process.
