Presentation Description / Summary: Veterinary education has become driven by use of the 50-60 minute lectures with a heavy reliance on powerpoint and theory. The aims of this session are to look at the evidence of the efficacy of these modalities, with both in-person and online sessions. The session will also look at techniques that may improve the value of time in curricula and consider changes in presentation, content and use of interactivity.

Learner Outcomes: 1. Understand the limitations of the 50-60 minute lecture 2. Understand that delivery of sessions in person and online are not effective if similar presenting styles are the same 3. Understand other methods that can increase effectiveness of sessions
