Presentation Description / Summary: This topic will present the latest and the greatest within the oncology field, highlighting liquid biopsy for early cancer diagnosis, the use of Laverdia CA-1 for dogs with lymphoma, a new chemotherapy sensitivity assay, and a discussion of Canalevia CA-1 for dogs with chemotherapy-induced diarrhea. The lecture will be split between two oncologists.

Learner Outcomes:
1. A better understanding of the MOA for both Laverdia CA-1 and Canalevia CA- and where we see them being used most often.
2. Understanding the basics of liquid biopsy and how this may benefit out current oncology cases.
3. Explaining how chemotherapy sensitivity assays may help in treatment decisions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will have abetter understanding of SINE inhibitors
  • Upon completion, participants will understand Laverdia CA-1 in regards to its MOA, dosing, adverse event profile and when best to use this new drug.
  • Upon completion, participants will understand liquid biopsy concepts and where the Oncok9 and NuQ tests will be used in practice.
