Presentation Description / Summary: An introduction to new MRI technologies within veterinary diagnostics. To include such topics as zero-helium 1.5T magnets, novel veterinary imaging applications and the speaker’s perspective on the potential future direction of veterinary MRI. This session is appropriate for veterinary technicians, image interpreters and practice owners.
Learner Outcomes: To better understand some of the new MRI technologies currently being introduced in the veterinary sector and how those technologies could help veterinary practices improve their diagnostic capability. To learn about potential future MRI technologies from the perspective of an MRI physicist with over 20 years’ experience developing veterinary MRI scanners and imaging applications.
