Artificial Intelligence represents a vast section of the technology industry which has long been melded with medicine. In this presentation the background, methods, and tactics used in data collection, and development of models, and artificial intelligence will be explained and then examined through the current veterinary medicine applications considering both the pros and cons while looking to the future and where AI might play a more formal role in the practice of specialty veterinary medicine
