Dr. Nozomu Yokoyama received his veterinary degree from Rakuno Gakuen University in Japan. He received a PhD in veterinary medicine from Hokkaido University in Japan for his work on innate immunity of canine inflammatory colorectal polyps which is frequently occurred in Miniature dachshunds in Japan. He is currently appointed as an assistant professor in the Laboratory of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine at Hokkaido University. His research is focused on intestinal microbial ecology with an emphasis on canine and feline chronic inflammatory enteropathy.
