Dr. Kari Foss is an assistant professor in the department of Veterinary Clinical Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her DVM from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. After earning her DVM, she then completed a residency in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery at The Ohio State University as well as earning a Master’s degree in Veterinary Clinical Sciences, also from The Ohio State University. Following completion of her residency, she was an associate veterinary neurologist at MedVet Medical Centers for Pets in Columbus Ohio before joining the faculty at the University of Illinois in 2016. Dr. Foss enjoys all aspects of veterinary neurology, with a particular interest in canine epilepsy. Currently, Dr. Foss’s research interests focus on ways to improve patient care through advancing diagnostic techniques utilizing neuroimaging.
