Alison Manchester grew up in Rochester, NY and earned her DVM degree from Cornell University. She completed an internship at the University of Wisconsin prior to a SAIM residency at Colorado State University. Dr. Manchester became board-certified by the ACVIM in 2018. She is currently a One Health Fellow at CSU, working on a PhD focused on immune dysregulation in dogs with chronic intestinal inflammation. Her studies involve utilizing novel platforms and non-invasive samples to expand understanding of chronic GI disease. When not in the lab or the clinic, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading fiction, listening to music, and spending time with loved ones in Downeast Maine.
