Rachel is a licensed independent clinical social worker and mobile veterinary social worker, specializing in grief, trauma and the intersection of veterinary medicine and mental health. She has worked in the counseling field since 1996, providing services to clients across the lifespan within a variety of settings. She worked at Pet Partners for six years as the Director of Programs/Therapy Animal Manager, integrating her certified therapy animals in clinical and healthcare settings. She was the founder/leader of the social work program at a large specialty/emergency veterinary hospital, where she worked as an embedded veterinary social worker for six years.
