Dr. Meera Heller is an associate professor of clinical livestock medicine and surgery at UC Davis. She received her DVM degree from UC Davis in 2001. She completed an internship in large animal medicine and surgery (2002) at the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI in Canada. She then returned to UC Davis to complete a residency in large animal internal medicine (2005), and a PhD in Comparative Pathology (2009). She was an assistant professor at the University of Missouri before returning to Davis in 2014.
