Dr. Shune Kimura is currently a PhD student in Comparative Biomedical Sciences at the University of Georgia. He obtained his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He later completed his DVM at Tuskegee University, a field services internship at the University of Georgia, and a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine (Equine Emphasis) with an M.S. in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University. His research interests include sepsis/systemic inflammatory response syndrome, endocrinology, and clinical pharmacology.
