Sharon Witonsky is an Associate Professor, Equine Field Service (PMM), Viirgnia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her DVM at the University of Minneosota in 1993; completed her rotating internship in the Large Animal Department at the University of Tennessee and completed her PhD in Comparative and Experimental Medicine/Immunology, both in 1997. She completed her post-doctorate training in immunology and Large Animal Internal Medicine Residency in 2000, and she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (LAIM) in 2003.
