MiraVista Veterinary Diagnostics is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are an expert in fungal infection diagnostics for animal populations. Our organization meets the most stringent regulatory requirements for infectious disease control, workplace safety, materials handling, specimen integrity, documentation and environmental responsibility. We are one of the very few veterinary reference laboratories with certification by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1998 (CLIA). The company was founded in 2002 by the renowned infectious disease scientist, Dr. Lawrence Joseph Wheat, whose groundbreaking research contributions resulted in the development of the first histoplasmosis antigen test in 1986.
