May is #PetCancerAwarenessMonth, and we're proud to continue our partnership with Petco Love in the fight against pet cancer. Since 2010, we have raised $20 million together, furthering pet cancer research, and supporting treatment for pets in need. 🩺💙 Pet cancer impacts millions of pets every year as the number one disease-related cause of death for dogs and cats in the U.S., afflicting one in four dogs and one in five cats. From May 1, 2023, through May 28, 2023, Blue Buffalo is making a $1 donation to Petco Love for every purchase of dry Blue Buffalo food for dog or cat made on petco.com, up to $75,000. Anyone can also join the fight against pet cancer with Petco Love and help improve access to pet cancer treatment for pets and their families by donating at petcolove.org/pca.

On National Adopt a Shelter Pet day, we kicked off National Pet Month the best way possible, by getting 14 shelter pets adopted to new, loving homes! 🏠❤️ BLUE partnered with Best Friend Animal Society and Walmart in Northwest Arkansas to throw a public adoption event. We broke Best Friends record for the most adopted pets on a Tuesday at their Pet Resource center in Northwest Arkansas and the fun continues during National Pet Month! Head to Walmart to pick up select bags of BLUE, and Blue Buffalo will donate to Best Friends to cover pet adoptions during the month of May. Sammy LOVES visiting Home Depot. (Who needs a dog park when you can explore the aisles of a hardware store?) Come snack o’clock, this pup heads straight for BLUE Nudges. 😋

During the NASCAR Cup Series last weekend, the No. 47 Camaro driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. carried the Blue Buffalo and Boost by Kroger imagery. Away from the racetrack, we teamed up with Kroger and FOX Sports’ pit reporter and play-by-play announcer, Jamie Little, to support her “Shelter Surprise” mission to help rescue animals across the country. Together, we visited Operation Kindness — a life-saving shelter in Carrolton, Texas — and delivered Blue Buffalo food and treat items and covered the cost of 100 adoptable pets!

Don’t let the cuteness fool you. Tito has the sass of a seasoned alley cat around strangers — but he’s a cuddle monster with family. His go-to snack: BLUE Wilderness treats.

We recently recognized four outstanding veterinarians at this year's Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas. Dr. Addie Reinhard, Dr. Robin Downing, Dr. Niccole Bruno, and Dr. Kwane Stewart were honored with our Together for Pets award, each receiving $10,000 for their exceptional contributions to animal care.

Betsy is the 👑 queen 👑 of the couch-potato pose, mastered after years of tireless napping research. When she’s not snoozing, she’s chowing down on BLUE Health Bars.
