Providing compassionate, in-home, end-of-life care for pets and the people who love them…because pets are family!
About us
Lap of Love is the nation's largest network of veterinarians solely dedicated to end-of-life veterinary care providing in-home euthanasia, telehospice, and pet loss support services. Our purpose is to serve the veterinary end-of-life space by creating a peaceful and personal experience for pets and the people that love them. Our veterinarians and veterinary care coordinators offer compassionate, open-minded guidance and grief support to pet parents who are deciding when, how, and why to either euthanize or continue medical management for their pet. Our philosophy centers around the human-animal bond and the need for that bond to be as undisturbed as possible throughout a difficult time. Compassionate Veterinarians Needed Nationwide! Veterinarians at Lap of Love make a difference in their community by helping pets pass with dignity in the comfort of their home. Most of all, our doctors find deep satisfaction in the appreciation they receive from clients who cherish the profound service we provide their pets and their family. We are looking for compassionate, adaptable, and self-motivated doctors who easily connect with others and enjoy the freedom and independence of not being tied down to an office.

Andy, our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. We're deeply sorry for your loss. We're grateful for the trust you placed in us to guide your sweet boy over the Rainbow Bridge. Wishing you comfort and peace during this challenging journey.
I had to say goodbye today.. He was perfect... Pet loss hits differently. He was in this world for 16 years and my little shadow for most of it. I always speak about the importance of over-delivering value for every dollar. Today the lady from Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice took her time, walked us through the process, loved on Luke for a bit, and allowed us to grieve while doing one of the most difficult thing a Veterinarian has to do. I will miss my companion (he was never a pet) he was Mr. Cat or Lucas Lopez... Depending on my interaction with him. We could not cure his cancer but he often healed me when I needed love. He was able to purr me into relaxation during hard days. When I dealt with PTS (Thank you Marines) he would lay on my chest and help me settle down. I will forever miss my cat. I will also forever be grateful to Lap Of Love for allowing us the ability to say goodbye from home and make his last day on earth his best day. He was more than my cat... he was a very important family member and I was his human that he had as a pet. I spoke about the importance of unreasonable hospitality during pet loss support at ICCFA - International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association in Tampa and here I am receiving some of the best service and love from a Veterinarian in the comfort of my home. I will continue to miss him and I will forever remember the kind Vet that was in my living room today. They have a difficult job and they do it well.
