BASIC: 1. Understanding nasal anatomy – and the secret pathways through the nose. 2. Rigid endoscopy of the entire nasal cavity without flushing – technique, tips and tricks and complication avoidance.
ADVANCED: 1. More than just looking around – a step-by-step approach to intranasal endoscopic intervention Tissue manipulation: from targeted biopsy to ablation. 2. The more hidden caves – endoscopic exploration of the three paranasal sinuses and the middle ear.
The following ENT disease patterns and endoscopic procedures are addressed with video and CT images (dog and cat):
Nasal cavity: Malformations (brachycephaly, miniaturization, stenoses); trauma sequelae (stenoses and obstructions, malpractice); rhinitis; sinonasal masses (malignant and benign; targeted biopsy and biopsy-expanded ablation; endonasal endoscopic tumor ablation)
Paranasal sinuses: (access to and intervention in all three nasal sinuses; sinusitis; sinonasal aspergillosis and complications)
Middle ear: Otitis media and sequelae (nasopharyngeal and aural polyps, myringotomy, septum bullae trephination - access to ventromedial compartment)
