After graduating from Berlin University, Bettina completed a fellowship at Tufts University, an internship at Marion duPont Equine Medical Center and a large animal internal medicine and emergency and critical care residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Since 2005, she has been a member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. After attained her PhD from the University of London in 2008, Bettina has been working at the Royal Veterinary College. She is now the Head of RVC Equine and Professor in Equine Medicine and Emergency and Critical Care.
